590+ Series DC Digital Converter

Microtach Option Board

There are two kinds of SSD Drives’ Microtach, each requiring a
different board:

x

5701 Microtach (plastic fibre)

x

5901 Microtach (glass fibre)

If fitted, refer to the Microtach Technical
Manual for further information.

Wire-Ended Encoder Option Board

The board accepts connection from a wire-ended encoder.

If fitted, refer to the Encoder Technical
Manual for further information.

Tacho Calibration Option Board

The board accepts connection from an analog tachogenerator.

If fitted, refer to Chapter 4: "Operating the
Converter" - Speed Feedback Option Boards.
