Vibrator

Replacement Procedure

•

Perform sections 3.1.1 – 3.1.2 of the flip disassembly.

Tools needed to perform the following steps:

•

Style 2A ESD tweezers

Step-by-Step Instructions

Using style 2A tweezers, lift the old vibrator from
the outer flip cover.

NOTE! Be careful not to damage the vibrator

contacts when handling the new vibrator.

Place a new vibrator in the outer flip cover’s vibrator
cavity so that the contacts are oriented away from the
outer flip cover and the neck on the vibrator is
aligned with the notch in the wall of the vibrator
cavity.

Press on the vibrator to make sure it is seated all the
way down in its cavity.

•

Perform sections 3.2.2 - 3.2.3 of the flip reassembly.
