Step-by-Step Instructions
24.
Orient the receiver relative to the receiver cavity on
the display carrier so that the side of the receiver with
the dust gasket is away from the display carrier and
receiver springs point away from the LCD assembly.
25.
From the top edge of the display carrier, slide the
receiver into the receiver cavity so that the side edges
of the receiver are under the ledges the run along each
side of the receiver cavity.
NOTE! There should not be a significant gap between
the receiver and the LCD when the receiver
is completely slid into its slot.

If a navigation keypad dome foil is not present, install one by performing the steps of the
“Navigation Keypad Dome Foil Installation” section.
•
If a liquid intrusion indicator is not present, install one by performing the display flex film
assembly’s portion of the “Liquid Intrusion Indicator Installation” section.
•
If a keypad lock key is not present, install one by performing the steps of the “Keypad Lock
Key Installation” section.
•
Perform sections 3.2.1 - 3.2.4 of the Flip Reassembly Procedure
•
Perform sections 2.2.2 - 2.2.4 the Base Reassembly procedure.

Display Carrier
The procedure for removing and reinstalling the
display carrier assembly (this consists of the
display carrier and the display flex film)
is addressed by the flip disassembly and reassembly
procedures. The procedure for replacing the
display carrier
is covered in the Display Flex Film
and Display Carrier disassembly and reassembly procedures.
