Step-by-Step Instructions
4.
While holding the new antenna over the new outer
base cover, use a pair of style 2A tweezers and
position the flex film portion of the antenna around
the two alignment standoffs that are part of the ledge
that the antenna’s flex film extension attaches too.
5.
Once the antenna flex film extension is seated onto its
ledge, insert the new antenna into the antenna loop
portion of the outer base cover.
6.
Use the flat end of a pry tool to apply pressure over
the area where the antenna flex film mates to the
ledge in the outer base cover so that a good bond is
formed between the two.
7.
Lift the rear speaker module from the old outer base
cover and set it aside.
8.
Remove the RF port plug from the old outer base
cover by pressing it out from the inside surface of the
outer base cover.
