Keypad Switch Assembly Installation

If this part is being replaced, a new part should be used in the place of the old part when the
following steps are being performed.

Tools needed:

None

Step-by-Step Instructions

Plug the keypad switch assembly’s flex film
extension into its connection on the circuit board.

Position the keypad switch assembly over the circuit
board’s exposed shield cans so that the lipped edges
of the switch assembly’s metal plate catch on the
corresponding edges of the large shield can.

•

Perform sections 2.2.2 - 2.2.4 the Base Reassembly procedure.
