Camera Module Removal

•

Perform sections 2.1.1 - 2.1.4 of the Base Disassembly Procedure

Tools needed :

•

Style 2A ESD tweezers (Blunt tip)

•

Camera extraction tool

Step-by-Step Instructions

Orient the circuit board so that the camera module is
towards you.

Using tweezers, remove the foam gasket that is on
top of the camera’s circuit board connection.

Obtain the camera extraction tool and orient it so that
its four feet are aligned to the four openings where
the metal clips that hold the camera module in
position are located.
