Lift the display cover from the phone, and set it
aside.

NOTE! Occasionally, the navigation keypad comes

off with the display cover when it is
removed. If that is the case just set the
navigation keypad aside.

Display Carrier Assembly’s Disassembly from Inner Flip Cover

The sections of the Flip Disassembly preceding this section must be performed in sequential
order before the disassembly steps listed below can be performed.

Tools needed:

•

Torque screwdriver

•

JCIS No. 0 bit

•

Style 2A ESD tweezers (Blunt tip)

Step-by-Step Instructions

If the navigation keypad is lying on the display
carrier, remove the navigation keypad and set it
aside.

Remove the four screws that attach the hinge to the
flip assembly using a torque screwdriver and a JCIS
No. 0 bit.

NOTE! Do not reuse these screws.

Lift the hinge assembly from the flip and hold it out
of the way.
