Keypad Lock Key Installation
If this part is being replaced, a new part should be used in the place of the old part when the
following steps are being performed.
Tools needed:
None
Step-by-Step Instructions
1.
If a new keypad lock key is being installed, obtain a
new keypad lock key and a new keypad lock spring
and install the spring on the keypad lock key as
shown.
2.
Orient the display carrier so that the display is upward
and the music player key’s switch is towards you.
3.
Position the keypad lock key so that the external
portion of the key is aligned with the indicated
opening in the edge of the display carrier and the arm
of the keypad lock key with the spring is towards the
music player key switch.
4.
Install the keypad lock key in the edge of the display
carrier so that that the “L” shaped arm of the keypad
lock key is within its corresponding slot on the
display carrier.
