Preparation procedures

Hitch trailer to tractor.

Park tractor and trailer on hard level ground.

Immobilise tractor with parking brake.

Place the wheel chocks under the wheel opposite to the lifted wheel. Ensure

that trailer shall not move during inspection.

Raise the wheel (opposite to the side where chocks are placed).

The lifting jack should be placed between U bolts (1) - figure (5.2)

securing axle to leaf spring, or as near as possible to axle mounting.

Recommended support point is marked with an arrow.
