Offnen des Gurtes
Um den Gurt zu öffnen, müssen Sie auf die
rote mit PRESS bezeichnete Taste drücken.
Die Schloßzunge springt dann sofort aus dem
Schloß, auch wenn der Gurt belastet ist.
Achten Sie darauf, daß der Gurt immer ganz
aufgerollt ist, wenn er nicht benutzt wird. Er
kann dann nicht verschmutzt oder beschädigt
werden.
Kontrollieren Sie die Gurte regelmäßig auf
Gewebeschäden, das Schloß und die Befesti-
gungspunkte auf einwandfreie Funktion.
Wenn die Gurte bei einem Unfall belastet
wurden oder beschädigt sind, müssen sie zu
Ihrer Sicherheit erneuert werden.
Kinderrückhaltesystem
Für die Sicherung von Kinderrückhaltesys-
temen ist im Kofferraum unter dem Bodentep-
pich ein zusätzlicher Befestigungspunkt vor-
gesehen (Pfeil).
Hinweis für Airbagfahrzeuge
Werden Kinderrückhaltesysteme auf dem Bei-
fahrersitz von Airbagfahrzeugen benutzt, muß
der Sitz in die hinterste Position gebracht wer-
den und dort verbleiben.
Kinderrückhaltesysteme, die sich an der
Schalttafel abstützen, dürfen bei Airbag-
fahrzeugen nicht verwendet werden.

Releasing the belt
To release the belt, press the red button
marked "PRESS". The tongue then springs
out of the buckle, whether there is any load-
ing on the belt or not.
Make sure that the belts are always fully re-
tracted when not in use. This will prevent
them becoming dirty and avoid unnecessary
damage to the belts themselves.
You should check the seat belts regularly for
signs of damage to the webbing. Make sure
that the buckles and anchorage points are in
good condition.
If the belts have been subjected to high loads
or stretched in an accident, have them re-
placed in the interests of your own safety.

or additions.

Child restraint system
An additional anchorage point (arrowed) for a
child restraint system is to be found beneath
the carpet in the luggage compartment.
Please observe the installation instructions
supplied by the manufacturer of the child re-
straint system.
Note for models with airbags
If a child restraint system is used on the front
passenger's seat of a model fitted with air-
bags, the seat must be moved to the rear-
most position and remain there.
Child restraint systems which are supported
by the dashboard must not be used in models
fitted with airbags.
