7.15 Stylus
The stylus is a pen shaped device with a receiver coil assembly built inside and a push button
switch mounted on the handle to effect data output. The Position measurements are relative to
the tip of the stylus, due to a precise factory calibration. The Stylus is dimensionally shown in
Figure 7-11 and may be used
as a receiver
in any of the receiver ports. However, the button on
the stylus will only work when the stylus is connected to Station 1. The stylus functions as a
receiver with the electrical center offset from the tip of the stylus via software. Single or
