29.5.3 Cleaning the tank floats and strainer
The tank floats and strainer should be cleaned once a
week to prevent mould growth or build-up of ceramic
material and for optimal circulation.
NOTE
Dirty tank floats and strainer will affect the fluid pressure of
the mill and not allow the milling unit to work properly.
1. On the
Mill Options
screen select Support console.
2. Select High Level.
3. Touch the Mechanical Control box. The box will be
outlined in blue when selected.
4. Touch Unlock Drawer. You will hear the water purge. The
text on the button changes to
Lock Drawer
.
5. Pull the tank drawer open.
6. Touch Lock Drawer. The float/stainer assembly lowers
down and becomes visible.
Look under the mill where the tank drawer was to find the
float/stainer assembly in the back left area.
7. Reach in, grab the black part of the strainer (B) and pull
down to remove it. Clean the strainer with a nylon brush
and water.
8. Wipe the floats (A) with a paper towel to remove any
debris.
NOTE
Do NOT use chemicals or other brush types to clean the
floats or strainer as they may damage them.
9. Wipe down the bottom of the mill.
10.On the
Support Console
screen touch Unlock Drawer.
This will raise the float/strainer assembly.
