Programming a Multi operation or a
shutdown sequence
1 Press and hold R.SETUP, then press “3” for three
seconds.
The LED flashes continuously.

2 Press the input function button (or

button).
For Multi operations, p r ess the input function you wish to
p r og r am (fo r example, if you want to sta r t the sequence
by switching on you r DVD playe r , p r ess

button.
The LED blinks twice and flashes continuously.
3 If necessary, press the input function button for the
component whose command you want to input.
This is only necessa r y if the command is fo r a new
component (input function).
4 Select the button for the command you want to
input.
The LED blinks once and flashes continuously.
• You don’t need to p r og r am the r eceive r to switch on
o r off. This is done automatically.
With Pionee r components, you don’t need to p r og r am
the powe r to switch off in a shutdown sequence (except
DVD r eco r de r s).
5 Repeat steps 3 to 4 to program a sequence of up to
five commands.
If you p r ess R.SETUP befo r e p r og r amming is completed,
commands p r og r ammed up to that point will be sto r ed.
6 Press R.SETUP to exit the programming mode.
Using multi operations
1 Press MULTI OPERATION.
The LED flashes continuously.
2 Within five seconds, press an input function
button that has been set up with a multi operation.
The r eceive r switches on (if it was in standby) and the
p r og r ammed multi ope r ation is pe r fo r med automatically.
Using System off
1 Press MULTI OPERATION.
The LED flashes continuously.
2 Within five seconds, press

SOURCE.
The command sequence you p r og r ammed will r un, then
all Pionee r components will switch off

, followed by this
r eceive r (switch of all the zones becomes off).
Erasing the settings for the multi-operation
This e r ases all the settings p r og r ammed in the r emote
cont r ol fo r the multi-ope r ation.
1 Press and hold R.SETUP, then press “8” for three
seconds.
The LED flashes continuously.

2 Press the input function button containing the
program you want to cancel or the

SOURCE button
for three seconds.
If the LED lights fo r one second, the e r asing has been
successfully completed.
