About status messages
(SC-LX83 only)
Refe r to the following info r mation when you come up with a status message while ope r ating the Home Media Galle r y.
If the p r oblem is not solved afte r the t r oubleshooting above, if the sc r een f r eezes unexpectedly o r if the buttons on the
r emote cont r ol o r f r ont panel stop wo r king completely, do the following:
• P r ess 
STANDBY/ON
on the f r ont panel to tu r n off the powe r , then tu r n the powe r back on.
• If the powe r cannot be tu r ned off, p r ess and hold 
STANDBY/ON
on the f r ont panel fo r ove r 10 seconds. The
powe r will tu r n off. (In this case, the va r ious settings made on the r eceive r may be clea r ed.)
Cannot access Windows
Media Playe
r 11 o r Windows
Media Playe r 12.
In case of Windows Media Player 11: You a r e
cu rr ently logged onto the domain th r ough you r
PC with Windows XP o r Windows Vista installed.
In case of Windows Media Player 12:
You a r e
cu rr ently logged onto the domain th r ough you r
PC with Windows 7 installed.
Instead of logging onto the domain, log onto the
local machine (page 61).
Cannot listen to Inte r net r adio
stations
The fi r ewall settings fo r components on the
netwo r k a r e cu rr ently in ope r ation.
Check the fi r ewall settings fo r components on the
netwo r k.
You a r e cu rr ently disconnected f r om the Inte r net. Check the connection settings fo r components on
the netwo r k, and consult with you r netwo r k
se r vice p r ovide r if necessa r y (page 112).
The b r oadcasts f r om an Inte r net r adio station a r e
stopped o r inte rr upted.
The r e a r e cases whe r e you cannot listen to some
Inte r net r adio stations even when they a r e listed in
the list of Inte r net r adio stations on this r eceive r
(page 62).
The Home Media Galle r y
cannot be ope r ated with the
buttons on the r emote cont r ol.
The r emote cont r ol is not cu rr ently set to the
Home Media Galle r y mode.
P r ess HMG to set the r emote cont r ol to the Home
Media Galle r y mode (page 61).

A component on the netwo r k, including a PC, is cu rr ently being connected. Wait fo r a while.
Connection Down The selected catego r y o r Inte r net r adio station cannot be accessed.
File Format Error
Cannot be played back fo r some r easons.
Track Not Found The selected song has not been found anywhe r e on the netwo r k.
Server Error
The selected se r ve r cannot be accessed.
Server Disconnected The se r ve r has been disconnected.
empty
The r e a r e no files sto r ed in the selected folde r .
Preset Not Stored The selected Inte r net r adio station is not cu rr ently r egiste r ed and saved.
Out of Range
The value ente r ed is beyond the pe r mitted r ange of the netwo r k settings.
License Error The license fo r the contents to be played back is invalid.
Item Already Exists
This is displayed when the file you have attempted to r egiste r in the Favo r ites folde r has
al r eady been r egiste r ed.
Favorite List Full
This is displayed when you have attempted to r egiste r a file in the Favo r ites folde r but the
Favo r ites folde r is al r eady full.
