Controlling the robot program in the operating mode
"Automatic" with teach pendant
The robot program that is currently selected on the teach pendant can be started and
stopped via the teach pendant. To do this, the operating mode "Automatic" with teach
pendant must be active. If the operating mode "Automatic" with external controller is activ-
ated, start/stop commands that come from the teach pendant will be ignored.
Prerequisites

The teach pendant is connected to the control cabinet.

The operating mode "Automatic" with teach pendant is configured on the teach pendant.
}
All safety devices are enabled.

The motion enable from the safety control system is present.
Starting the robot program via the teach pendant
}
Start the robot program that is currently selected by operating the "Play" button on the
teach pendant.
The teach pendant starts the robot program with the current override. A message will ap-
pear on the teach pendant, indicating that the robot program is being executed. Once the
end of the program is reached, a message will appear on the teach pendant, indicating that
the end of the program has been reached.
Stopping the robot program via the teach pendant

Stop the program that is currently selected by operating the "Stop" button on the teach
pendant.
The teach pendant stops the robot program running. The stop that is triggered via the stop
button corresponds to a controlled stop of the robot movement; i.e. this stop does
not
trig-
ger the stop function SS1. A message will appear on the teach pendant, indicating that the
robot program has been executed.
