The limit range is calculated using the scale factor and the offset value in System configuration –
General.
Max. input value x Scale + Offset = Limit range
The max. input value is:
In analogue inputs: 20 mA
In frequency inputs: 1000 Hz
Example : Analogue connection 1
Scale factor = 5,0
Offset value = ‐ 1,0
Limit range = 20 x 5,0 + 1,0 = 101,0
The limit range is then 0,0 – 101,0
Example: Frequency connection 1
Scale factor = 0,6
Offset value = 1,0
Limit range = 1000 x 0,6 – 1,0 = 559,0
The limit range is then 0,0 – 559,0
A negative offset value must be added.
A positive offset value must be deducted.
NOTE: Never enter the offset value as the limit value. The smallest changes
would then cause the irrigation program to be stopped by the
weather station.
