7.2.1 Example of Pump Start with Forerunning and Interval
Pumps 1, 3, and 5 are installed and active.
Forerunning: 50 seconds
Interval: 20 seconds
Program start, Pump 5 starts at the same time
The pump with the highest number starts always first .
The interval entered runs next.
Pump 3 starts after the interval expires.
The interval runs again.
Pump 1 starts after the interval expires.
Now Forerunning runs.
The first valve opens after Forerunning expires.
Second Operation
0 Program starts, Pump 5 starts
20 (Interval) 20 seconds later Pump 3 starts
40 (Interval) 20 seconds later Pump 1 starts (Relay 1 is energised)
90 (Forerunning) 50 seconds later the first valve opens
In this case it takes 90 seconds before the first valve opens.
The Relay 1 and 2 outputs are only energised after Pump 1 and 2 has been started.
In this example the Relay 1 output will be energised after 40 seconds!
