10.2.2 Monitoring of pump alarm active
This wills activate the pump control.
Decoder no. 245 has to be connected with the pump ‐ status ‐ relays.
Status:
Relays open: no error
Relays closed: error
Continuation
The decoder solenoid cables have to be connected with the pump ‐ status ‐ relays.
2 different statuses will be reported from the decoder to the VCU.
No error in the pump system
In this case the pump ‐ status ‐ relays are open and the decoder reports following status:
„Coil shortcut >xx Ohm“. This means the pump system is Ok.
Error in the pump system
In this case the pump ‐ status ‐ relays is closed and the decoder reports following status
„Coil shortcut<xx Ohm“. This means the pump system has an error.
If decoder 245 reports an error the entire irrigation stops (each active program stops, all manual
opened valves will be closed.) The corresponding alarms are displayed on the right below side of the
screen/monitor. And, if active, the alarm will be sent additionally by telephone.
Standard adjustment: no activated
10.2.3 Emergency call in case of too much faulty opened valves
Activation of the alarm function by telephone if the limit of
“max. number of faulty open valves permitted”
Standard adjustment: not activated
10.2.4 Emergency call in case of pump error
Activation of the alarm function by telephone if the field
„pump supervision active“
is activated.
