Tool Required:

•

Purge window aluminum

ring removal tool (Part No. N0790448)

1. Turn off the plasma.

2. In order to gain access to the Radial Purge window you must remove the Shear

Gas Nozzle. See

Removing the Shear Gas Nozzle

on page 207.

3. Locate the radial purge window in the torch compartment.

If the plasma has been on, the torch glass will be very hot and can
cause serious burns.

Wait five minutes after turning off the plasma

before you begin these maintenance procedures.
