Wiring SunTouch
®
Control System to the IntelliChlor
®
Salt Chlorine Generator
Be sure to check the wire color and function of the IntelliChlor
®
Salt Chlorine Generator (SCG) before
connecting it to the SunTouch
®
Control System COM port on the motherboard. See the wiring table
below for the pin configuration.
Failure to wire the salt chlorine generator properly can permanently damage the SunTouch Control
System or chlorine generator. For more information about wiring IntelliChlor (SCG) to the SunTouch
Control System Power Center, see page 79. See “IntelliChlor” Main Menu (13/14) on page 33 for setup
information.

IntelliChlor (SCG) AC Wiring Instructions: When using an IntelliChlor (SCG) with the SunTouch Control
System, the IntelliChlor (SCG) AC power center wires must be connected to the PUMP SIDE OF THE
MAIN FILTER PUMP RELAY (LOAD SIDE) located in the SunTouch Control System Power Center. This
ensures the IntelliChlor cell produces chlorine only when the main filter pump is on (see page 73 and
74).
