(2) 3-wire variable-length serial I/O mode
The 3-wire variable-length serial I/O mode is useful when connecting to a peripheral I/O device that includes a
clocked serial interface, a display controller, etc.
This mode executes data transfers via three lines: a serial clock line (SCK4), serial output line (SO4), and serial
input line (SI4).

The 3-wire variable-length serial I/O mode is set via variable-length serial control register 4 (CSIM4).
