Preparation:

• Paper Towel (Lint-free cloth) or Polyester knit wiper (optional)

• Lubricating grease

• Cleaning stick

Table Maintenance

Important!

During cleaning, please note the followings.

• DO NOT apply lubricating grease on area other than specified.

• Always use the paper towel (lint-free cloth) supplied with the printer or optional polyester knit wiper.

DO NOT use tissue paper.

Before greasing

[1]

If any media or jig is loaded on the table, open the front cover and remove it.

[2]

Check that the front cover is closed, and press the [Menu] key.

[3]

• Press the [ - ] key until “Menu 3: Maintenance >” appears.

• Press the [>] key.

[4]

• Press the [ - ] key until “Mnt.8: Table Maint.” appears.

• Press the [Enter] key.

[5]

The message on the left will appear.

• Press the [Enter] key.

The message on the left will appear.

• The table moves to the front side of the printer.

[6]

The message on the left will appear.

• Remove the media and the jig on the table, and then press the

[Enter] key.

The message on the left will appear.

• The table moves to the position to perform the screw shaft

maintenance.
