a portion of their purchase (using the
example above) for a refund onto the pre-paid credit card.

Performing Balance Inquiries on Pre-paid Credit Cards
From the transactions menu:
1.
Scroll down and select
Balance Inq
.
If the "Password:" prompt appears, key in the
manager password
and press the green
OK
key.
The "Swipe, Tap or Insert Card:" prompt appears.
2.
Swipe the pre-paid credit card on the terminal. The card will be queried for its available balance.
When the transaction completes, the terminal (or external PINpad, if equipped) displays "Balance:
$###.##".
