3.1.4 Matching Network Operation through the Generator
The GMW-25 Generator can control and view the status of the
matching network on the generator’s front panel once the
MATCHWORK
®
is set up in generator control mode.
Activating the front panel to display MW status/Readbacks
To display the status of the connected matching network, complete the
following steps:
GEN/MW
1. Press the GEN/MW button on the front panel to switch the display
from showing the status of the generator to that of the matching
network.
The display should look like this:

C1 POS:
Tuning capacitor 1
position. Displays 0 - 999.
C2 POS:
Tuning capacitor 2
position. Displays 0 - 999.
DC BIAS*:
DC bias voltage in volts.
Displays 0 - 9999.
VPP*:
Peak to peak voltage in
volts. Displays 0 - 9999.
SETPOINT SELECT:
The 3 choices for this field
are C1 POS, C2 POS, and
PRESET. The choice in
the field is controlled
through the digitizer knob.
PRESET:
Shows the preset
location of 1-15
MODE:
Selected via the RUN
MODE button. Choices
are:
AUTO - auto tune mode
MAN - manual tune mode
REM - remote control
mode
* = These fields are for readback status. They cannot be changed by the user.
GEN/MW
Pressing the GEN/MW button again will return the display to
showing the status of the generator.
