All of the doors and the tailgate can be locked
and unlocked as described hereafter.
Using the key on the driver’s door locks or
unlocks.
Using the central door lock switch on the
driver’s door locks or unlocks all doors and
the tailgate.
All of the doors and the tailgate lock automat-
ically when the vehicle speed exceeds
approximately
9 mp
h. In addition, all of the
doors and the tailgate unlock when a strong
impact that could be very dangerous to the
occupants is sustained by the collision of the
vehicle. This is prepared for rescue activities
when an unexpected accident occurs.
Central door locks
NOTE
 Repeated continuous operation between lock
and unlock could activate the central door
locking systems built-in protection circuit
and prevent the system from operating. If
this occurs, wait approximately 1 minute
before operating the central door lock sys-
tem.
 When the driver’s door is open, the central
door lock switch cannot be used to lock it.

2- Unlock
NOTE
 If the vehicle is equipped with the keyless
operation system, the driver’s door can be
locked or unlocked with the emergency key.
