Setting method
• The rated torque unit is used as a default unit for the torque limit which differs from the setting for MR-J4-
_A_ servo amplifiers. To change the unit to the maximum torque unit, change the setting in [Pr. PC50.0
Torque limit unit change].

Servo parameter setting
The maximum torque is always limited by the values of [Pr. PA11 Forward rotation torque limit] and [Pr. PA12 Reverse rotation
torque limit] during operation.
Analog torque limit
The relationship between the applied voltage of TLA (Analog torque limit) and the torque limit value of the servo motor is as
follows. The torque limit value relative to the voltage varies by approximately 5 % between motors. At the voltage of less than
0.05 V, torque may vary as it may not be limited sufficiently. Therefore, use this function at the voltage of 0.05 V or more.

PA11
TLP
Forward rotation torque limit
Set the servo parameter to limit the torque of the servo motor for CCW power running
or CW regeneration, or to limit the thrust of the linear servo motor for positive
direction power running or negative direction regeneration.
PA12
TLN
Reverse rotation torque limit
Set the servo parameter to limit the torque of the servo motor for CW power running
or CCW regeneration, or to limit the thrust of the linear servo motor for positive
direction power running or negative direction regeneration.
PC35
TL2
Internal torque limit 2
Set the parameter for limiting the torque of the servo motor or the thrust of the linear
servo motor.
When the internal torque limit selection signal is turned on, [Pr. PA11] or [Pr. PA12]
are compared with the internal torque limit 2 and the lower one will be enabled.
