“Power-On Troubleshooting” on page 9-6.

Calibration > Set Lower Piston Home.

Full Power-Off Procedure

This procedure is to be used when the computer needs to be shut down for an extended period of
time.

1. Exit the DVVA II 4000 software.

2. Place the power switch on the front panel of the instrument in the OFF position.

3. Disconnect the USB cable from the instrument.

4. Place the instrument

MAIN POWER

switch on the back panel in the OFF position.

Upper load cell

Lower load cells

Linear height transducer

If accessibility to the back panel is a problem, plug the instrument into a power strip
with an appropriate current rating and use the power strip to turn on the main power.
