with the tables on the suitability of the seats for
securing child restraint systems.

Suitability of the seats for fitting belt-secured child restraint systems
Observe the following notes:
R
if you are using a baby car seat of groups 0/0+ and a rearward-facing child restraint
system on a rear seat: the front seat must be adjusted in such a way that it does not come into
contact with the child restraint system.
R
if you are using a forward-facing child restraint system of group I: you should remove the
head restraint from the respective seat, if possible. Furthermore, the backrest of the child
restraint system must, as far as possible, rest against the backrest of the seat.
R
after removing the child restraint system, fit the head restraint without delay and adjust all head
restraints correctly.
R
for certain child restraint systems of weight category II or III there may be limitations for the
maximum size setting, e.g. due to possible contact with the roof.
R
make sure that the child's feet do not come into contact with the front seat. If necessary, move
the front seat slightly forwards.
R
the child restraint system must not touch the roof or be subjected to a load by the head restraint.
R
observe the manufacturer's installation instructions for the child restraint system.
