OPERATION

8. Loosen the three bolts (A) on latch assembly (B).

9. Adjust latch assembly to achieve the desired gap

between the front end of shield and header frame in
accordance with Table

3.1 Endshield Gap at Various

Temperatures, page 34

10. Tighten the three bolts (A) on latch assembly.

11. Tighten the four bolts on the support tube bracket.

12. Close endshield.
