includes

expiration

time.

the

switch

port

does

not

receive

LLDP

update

from

the

remote

device

before

the

time

‐

live

clock

expires,

switch

will

consider

the

remote

information

invalid,

and

will

remove

all

associated

information

from

the

MIB.

Remote

devices

can

also

intentionally

set

their

LLDP

time

‐

live

indicating

the

switch

that

the

LLDP

information

invalid

and

should

immediately

removed.
