Brakes
Lubricating the brake
axle
The brake axle adjustment must be lubricated at the start of the sea-
son and every 500 bales. The lubrication points are located on the bra-
ke adjustment in the middle of the axle.
> Lubricate the lubrication point.
Hydraulic
brakes
Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system is often overpressurised. All pipes, tubes, cou-
plings and connecting passageways must be checked for leaks and
other damage on a regular basis. Only use suitable tools when
checking for leaks. Repair any damage immediately. Escaping oil can
cause injuries and burns. Seek medical attention immediately if inju-
ries occur.

Collecting the oil
Leaking oil must be collected and cleaned up in accordance with na-
tional regulations. Otherwise damage may be caused to the environ-
ment.
The hydraulic brake is connected to a hydraulic trailer brake valve on
the tractor.
> Loosen the hose connection on the brake cylinder by one revoluti-
on.
> Touch the tractor's brake pedal lightly.
> Repeat this action until no more air is released out of the connec-
tion.
> Tighten the hose connection on the brake cylinder again.
