7.1.2 Blocking distance
Definitions
A1, the top blocking distance
The minimum distance from the flange to the top limit of the measuring range. The measurement displayed
on the gauge will freeze below this distance and an error warning will indicate that the level has reached the
blocking distance.
A2, the bottom blocking distance
A length at the end of the probe where measurement is not possible. For products with very low dielectric
constants

D, the non measurement zone
A zone where measurements cannot be taken (that is to say the counterweight, turnbuckle, and so on*).

The length specified by the customer in the order including the counterweight.
