active for coaxial probes.
Check for build-up around the process
connection. Clean or modify the
installation to avoid build-up. Refer to
section 1.2.1: Location; all applications.
Check that the probe does not touch the
process connection. Modify nozzle
height or consider anchoring the probe if
this is caused by agitated products.
Level pulse lost W Level pulse amplitude falls
below a set threshold.
Check for build-up along the probe.
Contact KROHNE for possible
modification of the service parameter
"Deposit Correction Factor".
Check for obstructions (agitator, support
beam, etc) in the free space around the
probes. These produce parasite signals.
Either try to filter out the parasite signals
using Level threshold function (refer to
section 4.2.4: Advanced setup- further
notes), move the device away from these
obstructions or install in a stilling well or
bypass chamber.
Does the product have a low dielectric
constant (<1.6)? Check the function
"Measuring mode" is set to automatic so
the device can choose the best
measuring mode (direct or TBF) based
on the operating conditions. Contact
KROHNE for further advice.
Interface pulse lost* W Interface pulse amplitude falls
below a set threshold.
Check for build-up along the probe.
Contact KROHNE for possible
modification of the service parameter
"Deposit Correction Factor".
Check for obstructions (agitator, support
beam, etc) in the free space around the
probes. Take corrective action as for
"level pulse lost".
If the error message "interface
measurement lost" is also displayed then
an emulsion may exist. Wait for the
device to find the interface again.
Probe end pulse lost W Probe end pulse amplitude is
below a fixed threshold. Will
normally only occur while
measuring in TBF mode.
The product's dielectric constant is too
high. Set measurement mode to
"Automatic" to let the device decide
which mode is the best. If the measuring
mode is set to "Direct" this will override
device selection.
