7 - MAINTENANCE

Adjusting the scrapers - Collector III unit (if equipped)

In connection with the daily check of the belt unit, check
if there are bulges on the rollers that indicate accumu-
lation of material.

If there is accumulation of material, check the scrapers

(1)

as follows:

1. Remove the belt. See Page

7-56

2. Clean the rollers.

3. Check the scrapers

(1)

for wear.

• If the scrapers

(1)

are so worn down that they can

not be adjusted to clean the total width of the roller,
proceed as follows:

Remove the bolts

(2)

Grind straight the scrapers

(1)

or replace the

scrapers

(1)

with new ones.

Push the scrapers in until there is approximately

1.00 mm

(

0.04 in

) air between roller and belt.

Tighten the bolts

Reinstall the belt and carry out a test drive. See
