7 - MAINTENANCE

Replacement of spring plate

Each disc has one spring plate

(1)

that secures both

blades. Replace the spring plate

(1)

immediately if any

of the following conditions exist:

• The blade holder does not secure the blade firmly to

the disc.

• The diameter A of the blade pin is less than

15 mm

(

0.59 in

• The blade pin

(2)

is severely worn on one side.

NOTICE:

The blades and spring plates are heat treated

for wear resistance. If a blade or a disc is damaged, do
not attempt to weld the parts together. Replace only with
genuine KONGSKILDE spare parts.

Use the provided clearance gauge

to determine

if the blade pin diameter is sufficient. The clearance
gauge should not fit over the shank of the blade pin

The end discs do not use covers. Remove the hex

socket bolts to remove the disc.
