4.11.4 REPLACING TOOTH POINT AND SIDE CUTTER

When replacing a tooth point or side cutter, apply a safety block to the bottom face of the bucket.

Check the bucket tooth points and side cutters
for wear. A tooth point with holes or cracks
should be replaced before adapter (1) begins to
be worn.
A side cutter with severe wear should be
replaced soon after it is found. If the replacement
is delayed, the body of the bucket will be
damaged.
