Controlling the Current Range Externally
You can use an external control signal to control the current range. You can use the range
status output to monitor the present state of the range.
You cannot control the voltage range.
Set the current range on the panel to the H range.
The current range cannot be changed when the load is turned on. The control signal input
received while the load is turned on is ignored.
Input for switching the range externally
Use pins 8 (RANGE CONT 1) and 9 (RANGE
CONT 0) of the EXT CONT connector (use pin
12 as the common).
The signal is 2 bit.
The control terminals are pulled up to the
internal circuit’s +5 V level by a resistor that is
approximately 10 k
Ω
. The maximum allowable
voltage is 5 V. The logic threshold levels are
CMOS.
Range status output
Use pins 14 (RANGE STATUS 1) and
15 (RANGE STATUS 0) of the EXT
CONT connector (pin 17 is common).
The signal is 2 bit.
