2.4.1 Austausch der Keilriemen für Lichtmaschine und
interner Kühlwasserpumpe
Aufgrund der relativ hohen Umgebungstemperatur in der geschlosse-
nen Schalldämmkapsel (ca. 85°C) muss bei den Keilriemen mit einer
reduzierten Lebensdauer rechnen. Da die Luft im Schalldämmgehäuse
nicht nur relativ warm sondern auch relativ trocken ist, muss man damit
rechnen, dass die "Weichmacher" in den Gummimischungen zum Teil
auch schon nach relativ kurzer Betriebsdauer ihre Wirkung verlieren.
Der Keilriemen muss deshalb in sehr kurzen Zeitabständen kontrolliert
werden. Es kann vorkommen, dass der Keilriemen unter ungünstigen
Bedingungen schon nach einigen Wochen ausgewechselt werden
muss. Eine Überprüfung ist deshalb im Abstand von 100 Betriebsstun-
den unbedingt erforderlich. Der Keilriemen muss als Verschleißteil
gesehen werden. Es sollten deshalb in ausreichender Anzahl Ersatz-
Keilriemen an Bord sein. Wir empfehlen, dazu das entsprechende
Servicepaket zur Verfügung zu halten.
2.4.1 Exchange of the V-belt for alternator and internal
cooling water pump
The relative high ambient temperature in the closed sound insulated
capsule (about 85°C) can be a reason for a reduced lifespan of the v-
belts. It is possible that the "softener" in the rubber compound lose their
effect after a short operating time because the air in the sound insulated
capsule can be relative warm and dry.
The v-belt must be controlled in a very short time interval. It can be happen
to change the v-belt after some weeks because of unfavorably conditions.
Therefore the control is needed in an interval of 100 operating hours.
The v-belt ia a wearing part. It should be enough spare v-belts on board.
We suggest to stand by the according service-packet.
