4. System Testing and Verification

Installation of the Precision Platform includes performing additional tests
and making any necessary adjustments. This chapter describes the various
testing and verification procedures, including:

Testing for radiation safety

Testing the Precision Platform operation

Testing operator console inputs

Checking and adjusting head cooling

Adjusting sheet guide and air wipe heaters

Reviewing and recording Precision Platform configuration

4.1. Testing for Radiation Safety during

installation

Regulations require that an installation radiation safety test be conducted
and documented before the installation process is completed and the
Precision Platform is made operational. This test must be conducted by a
person who is specifically licensed to perform it.

In cases where Honeywell employees install the sensors, Honeywell
Radiological Operations provides authorized employees who can perform
