1.1. Features and benefits

1.1.1. Precision Platform 4022

scanners

The Precision Platform 4022

series scanners include a four sensor

PrecisionPak sensor enclosure and a remote PMP, or a direct interface to
existing MXOpen systems, depending on the exact model. All Precision
Platform 4022 series scanners span the process with rigid I-beams, welded
to end supports that provide a solid measurement platform.

1.1.2. Precision Platform for Da Vinci with remote PMP

The 4022-31 and 4022-40 models both have a Precision Measurement
Processor (PMP) located in a compact, remote wall-mounted enclosure
that interfaces directly with the Da Vinci (or MXProLine for 4022-40)
control system.

1.1.3. Precision Platform for MXOpen

The Precision Platform 4022-30 interfaces directly to the existing MXOpen
system where sensor signals are communicated to the host system in
analog form. At the MXOpen Scanner Support System (SSP), each analog
signal is converted into a frequency modulated pulse train. The 4022-30
can be upgraded to full Da Vinci capability by adding a PMP and
changing the tachometer.
