Connecting the High Voltage Test Lead

Connection method

Turn off the instrument.

Connect the black lead to the low-side terminal on the back of the instrument and turn

it clockwise.

The black lead is locked and the shutter of the HIGH side terminal opens.

Connect the red lead to the high-side terminal.

Shutter

opens.

Rear

Insert lead with

this side up.

Turn lead when it

is inserted here.

Removing the High Voltage Test Lead

Turn off the instrument.

Disconnect the red lead from the HIGH side terminal.

Turn the black lead counterclockwise.

Disconnect the black lead.
