Platelet Incubator Operation Manual

9.2

Alarm reference

If an alarm condition is met, an alarm activates. Some alarms are visual only, while others are visual and

audible. Some alarms are sent through the remote alarm interface.

The following table indicates if an alarm for a particular model is audible (A), visual (V), or sent through
the remote alarm interface (R). Messages for visual alarms, if applicable, appear in the table as well.
Additional information about applicability is noted below the table.

The Change chart paper alarm applies only if a chart recorder is installed. Additional alarms may be

available on the chart recorder. For more information, refer to the Operation Manual for your chart recorder.

The Agitator 1 motion alarm applies to all PC4200 models, but for all other models, this alarm applies if

the agitator installed at this position is a Helmer i.Series model.

The Agitator 2 motion alarm applies only to PC2200 and PC3200 models that have a Helmer i.Series

model agitator installed at this position.

The Agitator 3 motion alarm applies only to PC3200 models that have a Helmer i.Series model agitator

installed at this position.

The Agitator 2 and 3 motion alarms do not apply for PC4200h models.

The requirements for the input voltage and frequency vary depending on the destination of the incubator.

The requirements for a particular incubator are specified on the Product Specification label. The voltage

tolerance is ± 10% of the nominal voltage.
