Using the screwdriver, turn the alarm delay control counter-clockwise until it stops. This decreases the
delay period to 0 minutes. The motion alarm should activate immediately.

Using the screwdriver, increase the delay period by turning the alarm delay control clockwise to
the appropriate position. Turning the control clockwise until it stops will set the delay period to
approximately 8 minutes.
5.3
Changing the volume for audible alarms
You can control the volume for audible alarms. The volume for temperature and power failure alarms is set
through the alarm volume control. PC4200h models have an additional alarm volume control for the motion
alarm.
5.3.1
Changing the volume for the temperature and power failure alarms

CAUTION:
Changing the volume for the temperature and power failure alarms requires
that you turn off the power to the incubator, which may affect the chamber
temperature. Before changing the volume, take precautions to protect items in
the incubator from extended exposure to adverse temperatures.
You can control the volume for the audible alarms for high temperature, low temperature, and power failure.
The alarm volume control for temperature and power failure alarms is located on top of the incubator under
the access panel.

The volume that you set with this control is used for all three alarms. At the factory, the volume is set at the
halfway point (medium).

WARNING:
Changing the volume for the temperature and power failure alarms requires that
you remove the access panel from the incubator, which exposes you to the risk of
electric shock. Regulations for your organization may require that only designated
service personnel remove the access panel. Follow the guidelines for your
organization.
