Changing alarm settings
You can change the settings for alarms.
4.4.1
Changing the setpoints for temperature alarms
NOTE:
A password is needed to complete this task. For more information about the
password, see Section 4.6, “Changing the password.”
The monitoring system has alarms which are activated if the temperature is too high or too low.
The High Alarm setpoint specifies the temperature at which the High Temperature Alarm should activate. If
the temperature that is detected by the upper chamber probe is greater than or equal to this value, the alarm
activates. The default setpoint set by the factory is 24 °C. The setpoint can be changed to a value from
-40 °C to 40 °C, inclusive.
The Low Alarm setpoint specifies the temperature at which the Low Temperature Alarm should activate.
If the temperature that is detected by the upper chamber probe is less than or equal to this value, the alarm
activates. The default setpoint set by the factory is 20 °C. The setpoint can be changed to a value from
-40 °C to 40 °C, inclusive.
The Cond. Alarm setpoint specifies the temperature at which the Condenser Temperature Alarm should
activate. If the temperature of the condenser discharge line is greater than or equal to this value, the alarm
activates. The default setpoint set by the factory is 50 °C. The setpoint can be changed to a value from
-40 °C to 80 °C, inclusive.
To change the setpoint for a temperature alarm

Access the CONFIGURATION screen.

From the HOME screen, press the MAIN button. The MAIN screen appears.

Use the buttons to navigate to and select the Edit Configuration option. You are prompted to enter
your password.

Enter your password. If the password is correct, the CONFIGURATION screen appears with the
first option highlighted.

From the CONFIGURATION screen, use the buttons to navigate to and select the Alarm Setpoints
option. The SET ALARM SETPOINT screen appears with the High Alarm Setpoint setting highlighted.

Press the DOWN button until the setting that you want to change is highlighted.

Press the INC or DEC button until the new value that you want to use appears.

Press the BACK button to return to the previous screen, or press the HOME button to return to the
HOME screen. The setting is saved.

Changing the setpoints for the door open and power failure alarms
NOTE:

password, see Section 4.6, “Changing the password.”
The Door Ajar Timeout specifies the longest time the incubator door or doors can be open prior to alarm. If
the time that has elapsed since the last time door was opened is greater than or equal to this value, an alarm
activates. The default setpoint set by the factory is 3 minutes. The setpoint can be changed to any value, in
increments of 1 minute, from 0 to 60 minutes, inclusive.
The Power Failure Timeout specifies the longest time the incubator can be without AC power prior to
