power for the cabinet should be very low. Verify that the combiner and
filter system are okay (no hot spots).
STEP 9
Connect the power meter to a precision directional coupler in the system
and reset the meter offset to equal the coupling value of the coupler.
STEP 10
As power is slowly raised, the Forward and Reflected power and Module
Phasing should be closely monitored. It would also be a good idea to
check the Module power supply voltages and currents at several points
along the way. Once the cabinet reaches full power, check for hot spots
on the combiner/filter.
STEP 11
If necessary, adjust the Module Phasing as described below. Module
Phasing should be used to get the module combiner reject loads below
4% (0 to 2% is normal).

Go to the Main Menu and select Module Phasing.
This will bring up the window shown in Figure 2-10.

Click on one of the module numbers
and then press the Auto Phasing button.
This will bring up a small pop up win-
dow as shown here. Select NO.

The procedure will take up to 15 minutes but can be done while on
the air. When the phasing adjustment is completed, the new settings
must be saved by pressing the Save Data button and answering YES
to the confirmation query.
