Getting Started

Overview of LiveTouch Features

LiveTouch is a scalable sports highlights system that makes slow-motion and instant replay 
workflows fast and effortless. The intuitive touchscreen panel is quick to learn and easy to 
use, making highlights selection sure, simple and robust. LiveTouch can scale to meet HD, 
3G-SDI and 4K UHD productions of any size. It is easily configurable to support large events 
and multiple studio productions. Uniquely, LiveTouch supports integrated editing with no 
delays due to media movement and without the cost of duplicating assets or storage. 
Highlights packages and instant replays get to air faster, and system design is dramatically 
simplified.

LiveTouch provides fast highlight selection, playlist editing and live play-out control 
through an interface that includes a mix of dedicated panel keys and variable function 
touchscreen softkeys, a responsive jog wheel and high-precision T-bar.

LiveTouch can form part of a larger system comprising one or more 

seats

. Each LiveTouch 

seat consists of a desktop client application running on a PC, with an associated LiveTouch 
Panel.

• Ability to choose a preferential angle to be cued on the playout ports

• Full clip names are visible on hover with cursor in Client

• Ability to restripe timecode
