Managing Tags Locally
You can manage content and arrange the displayed order of your tag lists from the Desktop
Client. In addition, you can assign nine favorite or frequently-used tags to keyboard
function keys
F3 through F11 so that they can be quickly applied directly from the main
screen when clipping.
Once cached locally, you can manipulate the tag list to suit your specific requirements.
Before using the tag tools, you need to select the clips on which they are going to act.
Select and deselect tags as follows:
• Click any tag to select it. Selected tags are highlighted with a blue background.
• Click a selected tag again to deselect it, or click to deselect all tags.
The available tag tools have the following functions:
• Page up or down through long rosters or tag lists. Shift + Up/Down
arrow keys takes you to the previous or next page.
• Send the selected tags to the top-left position in the tag table.
• Order the tags by tag number (default sort.)
• Insert a new tag using the soft keypad. The tag remains local to the
Desktop Client and is not saved to the LiveTouch Manager. The new tag
is always allocated the next available tag number.
