Configuring the LiveTouch Panel Settings
Jog Wheel Settings
Default Fast Jog Set the shuttle mode as default, engaging the clutch to allow
movement of the jog wheel to shuttle forward or backward through a
clip at up to 64x real-time speed.
Default: Unselected
Frames Per Turn Defines how many frames through which the play head moves in one
full rotation of the jog wheel.
Fast jog Multiplier Defines the multiplier for the speed of the jog wheel when used in fast
jog mode.
Fast jog speed = Frames per Jog Wheel turn × Fast Jog Multiplier.
For example: Frames per turn = 25, Multiplier = 3, then one turn = 75
frames.
Default = 3 (multiplier)
Fast Jog Timeout Defines the timeout in seconds after which the fast jog speed returns to
the default fast jog mode when the jog wheel is no longer active.
Default = 2 seconds
Max Speed Defines a default maximum speed setting for standard jog and fast
jog modes.
Anti-Knock Delay The delay (in seconds) before the jog wheel locks back into anti-
knock mode after a period of inactivity, to prevent accidental
movement.
Anti-Knock Angle The angle of rotation through which you need to turn the jog wheel to
unlock anti-knock mode and start using the jog wheel, to prevent
accidental movement.
End Stops
Press to calibrate the jog wheel left and right end-stops
for the shuttle mode, as described in Calibrating the Jog Wheel Shuttle
End-stops on page 167.
