Using the Playlist Controls
As long as the audio track has sufficient tails, you can extend the audio track so that it
starts to play in the time-frame of the preceding track of the playlist. Alternatively you
might choose to delay the start of the selected audio track by extending the preceding
track into the current track.
6 Press to set the new in point for the audio track.
You will see that the vertical height of the audio track adjusts to the new in point.
7 If you also want to set a new out point for the audio track, turn the jog wheel to
position the red playhead at the new out point at which you want the audio track to
stop.
8 Press
to set the new out point for the audio track.
You will see that the vertical height of the audio track adjusts to the new out point.
9 Once you are satisfied with your edit, press
to exit from split audio mode.

Note: Make sure that your target clip tails include at least 12 frames in
addition to the frames included in the transition.
