Removing Used Waste Cooking Oil from Fryer

. If cooking oil is cold, preheat to 200°F (93°C).
2. Be sure the Power Switch

and Selector Switch

are both in the
[OFF]
position.
3. Ensure the Filter Pan

and the Quick-Disconnect Hose

4. Slowly turn the Drain Valve Handle

position (horizontal) and allow the Fry Pot to
completely drain.
Cooking oil must be replaced regularly to maintain proper cooking characteristics and to continue to produce high
quality food items for the customer. Oil must also be removed prior to performing a Boil-Out Procedure. This
section describes the process for removing and discarding waste oil.
In this section a
Giles Oil Caddy (not included)
is referenced as the waste oil disposal container.

DO NOT attempt to pump or filter cold, congealed oil. The Filter Pump can clog and be
damaged. Oil must be a minimum of 200°F (93°C) before attempting to pump.
